Black Friday

Black Friday is the major annual shopping day following U.S. Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November), known for huge discounts, kicking off the holiday season and being one of the busiest retail days, originating from chaotic crowds in Philadelphia and later becoming a positive term for retailers turning profits ("in the black"). It's a global phenomenon now, with massive sales both in physical stores and online, often extending through the weekend to Cyber Monday.
